About our company

Well Products Industries began its journey in 1987 when Mr. Mafatlal A. Jain founded the first manufacturing facility in Mumbai. Mr. Jain understood that switchgear industry had the potential for growth, and he did not hesitate to grab this opportunity. Our founder turned a one-man show into an organization in 1987 which became an incorporated business in 1991 with a net worth of $15 MM in 2020.

Well Products Industries manufactured components for automotive sector and switchgear components for heavy industries until 2000. However, now we focus on manufacturing tap changer components, as we aim to expand our business offshores.

Brief History

1987

Well Products Industries started its journey in Mumbai as a premium manufacturer for switchgear and automobile components.

1991

Well Products Industries was incorporated and a dedicated facility for manufacturing of switchgear components was established.

2000

We started as premium supplier of fire safety equipment to OEMs.

2005

We built a facility in Nashik to cater to electric transmission segment.

2019

We started serving renewable energy OEMs.
